GRADIENT 1.1 SPEAKER PAIR
Gradient 1.1, introduced in 1985, replaced the previous 1.0 model. As production volumes increased, the requirements of series production had to be taken into account. The changes were mainly mechanical: the support frame at the top changed from a furniture tube to a flat iron, and the ends of the tweeter array case were bent from sheet metal instead of the previous pieces of PVC. Gradient 1.1 was a beautiful product with a minimalistic appearance.
For sale: a technically excellent pair of Gradient 1.1 loudspeakers. The speakers have just undergone a full factory service, during which the surrounds of the midrange and bass drivers, among other things, were replaced.
The speakers show signs of use. On one speaker, the vinyl film on the bass cabinet has partially come loose. This has no effect on the technical performance of the speaker.
The other speaker still has an inventory label, suggesting that the speakers have most likely been used in a conservatory at some point.
